Supported Living Services (SLS)
Supported Living Services help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live successfully in homes they own or rent. Support is tailored to each person’s needs, preferences, and goals, helping them maintain a safe, stable home while making meaningful choices about everyday life.
We proudly serve Fresno and Merced counties and the Oakhurst area, providing compassionate, dependable care that helps each person thrive.

Services are individualized; each person’s plan determines the support they receive.
The individual directs their life
SLS centers on the person’s right to choose where and with whom they live, establish their routines, and pursue their own goals. Staff provide assistance while respecting the individual’s preferences and control over their home and services.
Support that adapts over time
Independence does not require doing everything alone. SLS can continue for as long as needed, with services adjusting as a person’s circumstances and support needs change.
Getting started
Adults interested in SLS should contact their regional center service coordinator to discuss their living goals. The Individual Program Plan (IPP) process identifies the services and supports needed to help make those goals possible.
